Situated on the southern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea. Stretching along a beautiful semicircular bay facing east. Closed to the north by the descending ridges of the Balkan Range, thus blending sea and mountain in perfect harmony. A small peninsula is lying to the south - this is where the ancient town of Nessebur is located, an architectural and historic heritage of Bulgarian and world culture. Its abundance of historic buildings prompted UNESCO to include Nessebar in its list of World Heritage Sites in 1983.
