Heiroglyphics on the outer wall of the Temple of Khnum at Esna, The Nile, Egypt

The temple at Esna is dedicated to the ram headed God Khnum, the God of the Nile, Neith, the Goddess of War, Heka, the Goddess of Magic, and Menhet the Lion Goddess. This is a Ptolemaic temple, variously built by the roman emperor Claudius (41-54AD) through to Decius (249-251AD), and their names are recorded all over the Temple walls.
