Three world class ice sculptors from Glacial Art, who won Gold in the European Ice Carving Championships in 2009 and the Online Viewer's Award at the World Ice Carving Championships in Alaska in 2017, created the sculpture from two giant ice blocks imported from Belgium weighing in at 3 tonnes (approximately 3000 litres of water). Three world class ice sculptors from Glacial Art, who won Gold in the European Ice Carving Championships in 2009 and the Online Viewer’s Award at the World Ice Carving Championships in Alaska in 2017, created the sculpture from two giant ice blocks imported from Belgium weighing in at 3 tonnes (approximately 3000 litres of water).The production is in length, 1m in width and in height and required four chainsaws, chisels, steak knives, bonsai saws, angle grinders, irons and nail boards to be used over 100 man hours over five day period – all whilst in a -14 degree full scale industrial fridge.
