Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, the UK hotel brands whose parent company went into administration in the autumn, have been bought by Denver-based private equity group KSL in a deal thought to be worth close to £200m. KSL will keep management in place and said it would invest in the brands. It will examine how to expand both brands in the UK and abroad.
