Anonymous, c. 1800, Two pewter candlesticks in Louis XVI style. The candlesticks have a square pyramidal concave high arched base with a round profiled base of a column on top, separated by a ridge from a vertical, slightly tapering column shaft with a profiled projecting top edge. A loose saucer-shaped bobche or grease trap rests on the top edge, which fits into the hollow column shaft, 1948
