The Chinese Cafe was well patronized, there being a natural desire to learn how real Chinese tea,served in Chinese style, would taste and what would be the degree of enjoyment to a Caucasian ineating real Chinesedishes. The Chinese Village included, also, a Joss House and theatre, which, likethe cafe, had a constant patronage from the curious. 11
