Practical paleobiology: a researcher adding the finishing touches to a replica of the skeleton of a Titanosaurus. This was a quadrupedal herbivore dinosaur which lived in the upper cretaceous period about 70 million years ago. Titanosaurus grew to about 13 metres in length and would have weighed several tonnes. This is a replica taken from plaster casts of a fossil skeleton found near Esperaza, southern France.
