Inter-Continental Hotel Kabul


The famous Inter-continental Hotel in Kabul Afghanistan. Popular with foreigners including journalists and diplomats because of its high vantage point overlooking Kabul. Built by Taylor Woodrow and opened by the then King His Majesty Mohammad Shah in 1969. IN June 2011, the hotel was attacked by suicide bombers from the Taliban killing at least 10 people.
