Bristol, UK. 23rd July, 2017. The harbour festival started back in 1971 by a group of boat owners trying to stop Bristol City Council from filling in the harbour, they succeeded. Now still mainly a free festival and having a nautical theme a with a variety of boats in the floating harbour it has evolved and grown. This year rain, sometimes heavy, has interspersed with some sun cutting attendance slightly. Now it boasts a wide selection of food stalls from many countries and a range of music to almost be a music festival.
