Looking down the valley from Togchin temple ruins to Manzushir Monastery, Bodg Khan Mountains, Mongolia

Togchin, a huge Buddhist monastery complex of over 20 temples and 300 monks used to exist in this area before it was destroyed by the Mongolian Communists in the 1937. A small monastery, Manzishir Monastery, was rebuilt in recent years. The Bodg Khan mountains are one of the few areas where trees are more common.
