Freshly woven ketupat casings


Ketupat is a packed/compressed rice cake cooked inside of the woven coconut leaves. It usually takes 3 to 4 hours to boil them to cook perfectly. Ketupat is very popular among the Muslims in South East Asian countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia. Ketupat is usually eaten during Eid (religious celebration). It is also eaten with satay and peanut sauce.
