Volksbünhe theatre has a reputation for experimental and provocative plays, Rosa-Luxemburg-platz, Mitte, Berlin


Theatre built 1913-1914 to design by Oskar Kaufman and known as the free people's theatre with the aim of providing plays at affordable prices. It was damaged during WWll and rebuilt 1950-54 to the design of architect, Hans Richter. It has a reputation for experimental and provocative productions.
