The Noho Star, one of the restaurants in the East Village. The East Village is full of many excellent restaurants offering a spectrum of ethnic choices. The Avenues A and B are the hotspot of new cafés, bars and nightclubs. Located between the peaks of Wall Street and the Empire State Building is home to the University of New York and a short walk from Washington Square Park. There are numerous art galleries, clubs, shops and boutiques in the neighborhood. Grocery and hardware stores are within the same area.
