Apollo 15 launch preparations, May 1971. Aerial view of the Apollo 15 spacecraft, mounted on its launch rocket and with its launch tower, being transported to the launch pad. The Saturn V stack, mounted on a crawler-transporter, is being moved from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to Pad A, Launch Complex 39, at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida, USA.
