Splendid weather prevailed all the week preceding Easter until Good Fri- day, when an abundance of rain came, but Easter Saturday was fine and clear, although a little windy. There was a feeling that stock would be scarce for Easter and storemen were especially eager to place orders for lilies in advance, as several local crops were reported to be behind time, and large quantities were brought in from Toronto and Brampton, Ont. In some stores lilies were the leaders and were all sold, while in other places a few were left over. The main de- mand was for plants and any well grown plant was sold. There were a good many yellow prim- roses to be seen and they sold well. CLEVELAND OHIO G. W. MERCER 2991 West 25th St
