VATNAJOKULL, INCELAND: BRITISH visitors brave flash floods in a bid to explore what could be the world’s most crystal clear network of ice caves. From the cave entrance surrounded by shards of ice like giant teeth, to the maze-like warren of interconnected frozen chambers, he stunning network of ice caves around has proved such a hit with British visitors it hosts around 200 of us each winter. Pictures by local guide Einar Runar Sigurosson from the south side of Vatnajokull glacier in Iceland showcase the glory of one of nature’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders.
