Demonstrators protested at Glasgow Concert Hall steps in Buchanan Street because of the Councils plan to spend £370 million to replace the open steps with a glass covered access. The steps are at the junction of the two main shopping streets in Glasgow, Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street and is a well known meeting place, near the statue of Donald Dewar, the first First Minister of Scotland.
