Private First Class Julian Navaro takes a break in Kabal, Kuwait, to write a letter home. Navaro and approximately 1,500 other service members (not shown) are in Kabal to participate in exercise INTRINSIC ACTION. The exercise combines and Kuwaiti armed forces in an effort to strengthen military-to-military relationships, and enhance the militarys capability to deploy quickly to the region.
