Human torso model. Dissected model of a female human body with all the viscera (internal organs) removed. The diaphragm (centre left) marks the boundary between the upper chest cavity (housing the heart and lungs) and the lower abdominal cavity (housing the digestive and excretory organs). The brain and spinal cord have also been removed, revealing the inner surface of the skull (upper centre) and the channel the spinal column forms (down right).
