The Aiuola Balbo flowerbed garden was built in 1874, occupies an area of about 12,000 square meters and is inspired by the square French garden model with geometric scheme. Inside the garden there are, in the centre, the fountain with its high water spouts falling into the large pool and, scattered around it, the monuments dedicated to exceptional personalities. The sculpture realized in honor of the senator Eusebio Bava (1790-1854) depicted in general uniform of the Savoy army, was executed in 1856 by Giovanni Albertoni (1806-1887).
