Manchester UK 3rd October 2017 A group of mainly women are protesting outside the Conservative Party Conference being held in Manchester against the delay in women receiving the state pension at a later age. Many who were expecting to receive it at aged 60 and had made plans on this basis are having to wait until they are 66. They have chosen today to protest, as pensions in on today's agenda at the Conference. They have come from all over the country because of their sense of feeling over the injustice.
