Exposed eroded rock wall dyke of igneous Palaeogene basalt intrusion, Rubha an Dunain, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK

Exposed eroded rock wall dyke of igneous basalt intrusion, Rubha an Dunain, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK. This rock wall was formed by a seam of molten rock pushing up through cracks in the surrounding rock and then solidifying. The surrounding rock has then been eroded away to leave a raised wall of rock.
