Charles Watson McKeehan WILLIAM H. ADDICKS A prominent member of the junior Bar, was born in Philadel-phia, March 4, 1854. He is the son of John E. Addicks, deceased,who was a well-known merchant in his day, for sixteen years theHealth Officer of this port, one of the original members of theUnion League and especially noted for his earnest and patrioticzeal in behalf of the Union cause during the late Civil War. William H. Addicks received a liberal education and after be-ing fitted for college at the Episcopal Academy entered the Uni-versity of Pennsylvania where he remained three years and thenentered Princeton College, where he finished his studies in upon the law as his prof
