The supply of cut flowers is excellent in quality, with plenty on hand, although no stock has gone begging for the want of a buyer. Chrysanthemums are exceptionally good, bringing a fair price. Carnations have also increased in supply, but there is not an overabundance. They are not bringing as good a price as they should. Boses are improving in size and color. At present roses are in rather heavy demand. Various Notes. Miss Elizabeth Carlson has opened a store at 702 Walnut street and says business is as good as could be expected. Nelson Jarrett is spending a few days hunting on Grand river. Hiedermann & Son are building a conservatory 14x60, which they are try- ing to finish before cold weather sets in. Mrs. Mosely says th
