Since 1887 the village of Sault has been the historic home to the Boyer candymaking firm. The André Boyer Nougat shop is in the Guiness book of world records for having made the biggest bar of nougat (180 kg! meters long!), and the biggest bag of nougat pieces (40,000 pieces!).
