Cigarette card with illustration of Sir Malcolm Campbell's 'Bluebird'. This British Rolls Royce powered boat held the world water speed record in 1937 and again in 1938. The card was part of an old set of cigarette cards from WD and HO Wills, Bristol and London. The set is entitled 'Speed'. These cards were given away singly in packets of cigarettes in 1938. They were (and are still) popular collector's items - vintage nineteen thirties graphics for editorial use only.
