The centres of theflowers are worked in solid spots on the the intermediate parts of the muslin arethen carefully cut away, leaving the pattern inthe muslin. A finer embroidery cotton shouldbe taken for sewing the lines over than thatwhich is used for tracing the pattern. Theouter edge should be finished with a line of finebuttonhole-stitch, as it requires to be a littlestronger than the other parts. One of thesprigs would be sufficient to form the end of theceinture.
