Mounted Danish police at the The Hubertus Hunting - an annual, very popular, famous hunting in the hermitage with Royal attendance. Golden colours in Dyrehaven (The Deer Forest) just north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Each year on the first Sunday in November the local riding club arranges the traditional and famous Hubertus Hunting - an adapted foxhunting with two riders acting as foxes - and some 150 participating horsemen (and women) in full dress. Between spectators showed up this year as audience along the 13 km long course on this cool, beautiful, and sunny autumn day to watch the riders being challenged to their utmost at the various obstacles. The most dreaded of the 34 obstacles is the pond (Magasindammen) behind the Eremitage Castle where the spectators anxiously in tense expectation await one or more of the riders to take an involuntary, and not necessarily safe, dive from the horseback into the 3 feet deep, cold, and muddy water. Very fortunate for the riders, but disappointing for the spectators, no-one took the dreaded dive this year. It usually happens at least once
