Eight hours shall be consideredsufficient for rest. Article xvi. Engineers and firemen shall bepromoted according to seniority and ability on theirrespective divisions, unless incapacity is having engines and runs thev are not enti-tled to according to the terms of the agreement madebetween the company and engineers July i, 1886, shallbe removed, and said engines and runs given to themen according to seniority on their respective divis-ions. The foregoing to apply to all roads covered bysaid agreement. In case of a dispute between thecompany and the engineers as regards seniority, theengineers shall furnish a list, which shall be acceptedunless proven to be in error.
