SAN DIEGO (June 28, 2018) Capt. Larry McCullen, commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), and members of the ship’s Heritage and Diversity Committee cut a ceremonial cake during a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month celebration on the ship’s mess deck. Bonhomme Richard is currently in its homeport of San Diego, preparing for an upcoming scheduled deployment.
