Scales all cycloid, small, somewhat irregularly arranged, completely investing the boily; hi'ad and tins wholly naked. Color in life very brilliant. Head, body, and lins bright vermilion, ujiper iiartsof head and bocly darkened with olive tint, and with small .scattered i)uriilish spots, which are also found on upper half. x^.^.
