Blackpool, Lancahsire. 18 March 2022; Boris Johnson will return to Blackpool Winter Gardens, for the Conservative Party's Spring Conference. The delegates' arrival for two days of speeches and debate will be the most high-profile event at the new complex since the renovations were completed. The Grade II listed property used to host national party conferences on a regular basis, but it fell out of favour when its outdated facilities failed to satisfy modern day requirements. The last major party political conference held in the resort was nearly 15 years ago, when the Conservatives met for their big October gathering in 2007.
