Mr. Popp would like to hear from all florists and nurserymen around Tacoma and Seattle, to get their ideas on the matter. A large number have agreed to exhibit next year. Several advance orders have been re- ceived for the Scandinavian-American bank, which moves into its new quarters this week. E. P. EVAKSVILLE, IND. The Market. Chrysanthemums are becoming more numerous each day and will, of course, be the first in demand while they last. After several days of cold rains it turned clear and the temperature dropped to 36 degrees Saturday, Octo- ber 18; however, the frost was not heavy enough to do much damage. Various Notes. The Evansville Centennial Exposition, which opened October 10, is the biggest thing that has happened here for a long time. It runs to October 24. The at- tendance is large and there are thou- sands of visitors from out of town and a consequent increase in business. Visitors last week included J. C. Hoff- man, of Henderson, Ky.; Mr. Hoffman, of the Quality Brands Co., Cleveland, O., and Morgan Swope, of the Eeeser Plant Co., Springfield, O. E. L. F. H.
