General Daud Ghulam Tarakhel, the commanding general of the 505th Zone National Police, writes down key points made by the zone staff during a weekly staff meeting at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, July 5, 2017. General Tarakhel brought the key leaders from each section within the zone together to get a weekly situation report and address any pertinent issues. The meeting also served as an opportunity for the new zone commander to meet all of the Marine advisors.
