The internal arrangements of the wards differ somewhat from thoseat Belvidere, especially in the position of the nurses room and pantry,,which are placed between the acute and convalescent wards, while thelavatory, bath-room, sink, steep-room, and water-closet for nurses andpatients are in the annexe, which is separated from the ward by anentrance hall. The heating of wards is by means of hot water heated by steam froma boiler placed in the workshops block, the steam being led into cylindersplaced in the basement of each pavilion, from which a system of hot-waterpipes is led round the ward.
