The degree of variability of these three specimens may be the result of their artificial diet. Nevertheless, the "adult" tooth configuration may be reached at about SL 13 to 14 mm. A more precise statement is not possible since we have no wild-caught adults. We cannot describe the "adult" configuration with certainty but only estimate it from the samples at Please note that these images are extracted from scanned page images that may have been digitally enhanced for readability - coloration and appearance of these illustrations may not perfectly resemble the original Harvard University.
