A man speaks about the CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety ) scheme aimed at reducing collisions involving vulnerable road users and construction vehicles at the rally before cyclists stage a die-in outside Greenwich Council offices in Woolwich after three cyclist have been killed by vehicles in the area in recent weeks, two by HGV trucks on the notoriously unsafe Woolwich Rd. Plans to build a protected cycleway between Woolwich and Greenwich were apparently dropped because of oppostiion from Greenwich council, and Southwark Council are still objecting

A man speaks about the CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety ) scheme aimed at reducing collisions involving vulnerable road users and construction vehicles at the rally before cyclists stage a die-in outside Greenwich Council offices in Woolwich after three cyclist have been killed by vehicles in the area in recent weeks, two by HGV trucks on the notoriously unsafe Woolwich Rd. Plans to build a protected cycleway between Woolwich and Greenwich were apparently dropped because of oppostiion from Greenwich council, and Southwark Council are still objecting the the route west of Greenwich. Plans to improve the dangerous Woolwich Rd roundabout where one cyclist was killed were also dropped.
