Customised and re-worked Citroen 2CV Picasso Citreon in the Beaulieu Motor Museum, UK

Andy Saunders officially unveiled this re-worked Citroen 2CV at the 2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed. “I decided to try and blur the line between car design and art by using Picasso as inspiration”, Andy explains. “Picasso’s Citroen” is inspired by the famous ‘Portrait of Dora Maar’, and every panel has been altered – including widening the bodyshell on the right side and moving the boot. Andy spent approximately 1,200 hours customising the Citroen. Beaulieu, one of the South of England’s top day visitor attractions, is set in the heart of the New Forest, the UK’s newest National Park. Beaulieu is a guaranteed great family day out with lots for everyone to enjoy including the world famous National Motor Museum, Palace House, home of the Montagu family, and historic Beaulieu Abbey. It is located within easy reach of the popular tourist destinations of Bournemouth, Southampton and Winchester.
