At Kelleys Falls two-phase current is generated at6,000 volts and transmitted to the Manchester sub-station, whereit is changed into three-phase current at 2,080 volts. By means oftransformers located at the Manchester sub-station the voltage ofthe current from the water power plants is reduced so that itreaches the switchboard at the same ootential as current from thealternating generators in the Manchester steam driven plant (known.
