The Peace Pagoda, Milton Keynes
A Peace Pagoda is a Buddhist stupa; a monument to inspire peace, designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds, and to help unite them in their search for world peace. The Milton Keynes Peace Pagoda (°N °W) was completed in 1980 at the northern edge of Willen lake in Willen, Milton Keynes. This was the first Peace Pagoda in the western world.[ There is a Nipponzan-Myōhōji Order temple and monastery nearby (°N °W)
