EAST CHINA SEA (June 23, 2022) Machinist’s Mate 1st Class Maceto Pinder, from Aiea, Hawaii, dons a self-contained breathing apparatus during a damage control drill aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105). Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
