Horizontal wide angle of the fairytale Castell Coch perched on a hill on the outskirts of Cardiff on a bright sunny day. Castell Coch (English: Red Castle) is a 19th century Gothic Revival castle built on the remains of a genuine 13th century fortification in the village of Tongwynlais, north Cardiff. It was rebuilt in 1875 and consists of a keep, distinctive turreted towers, an enclosed courtyard and a gatehouse.
