A left-hand dagger, Italy or Spain, circa 1660/70 Slender, ridged thrusting blade, the upper half with a perforated central fuller, the base widened and with triple fullers. The fullers bear stamped crosses and "AP - ET". Long, expansive quillons, the shell-like hand-guard with chiselled decoration. Grip with iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Olive-shaped pommel richly cut with tendril decoration.
