Jeannine Harris in her trailer. She is a catholic but not an Irish Traveller. She is a nurse and decided to settle in the community in 2012 as her mother had very strong links with families there and with Father Murphy. She is very well accepted and part of the community. Murphy Village, North Augusta, South Carolina is a community of around 2000 Irish Travellers who settled there in the late 60s. They bought some land, following the advice of Catholic priest Father Murphy who also had a catholic church, St Edward, built in Murphy village.
