Brussels Sprout seedlings growing in biodegradable fibre pots waiting to be planted outside.

This image is of Brussels Sprout seedlings in wood fibre (fiber), coir or peat pots that are made of natural biodegradable materials that can easily break down into the soil. In fibre pots the roots can push through the pot sides easily and when this occurs they are air-pruned, which promotes even root distribution. The plant, along with the fibre pot, can go straight into the ground. This means the roots aren't disturbed, there's no transplant shock and no waiting for roots to settle in.
