Thousands of freelancers have demanded this Sunday that changes occur in the contribution system, a reduction in the quotas of self-employed and access to social benefits like the rest of employees. It has been an unprecedented protest. For the first time, thousands of self-employed workers from all sectors demand fair rights for their collective. They have done so in a demonstration in Madrid in which they have demanded changes in the contribution system, a reduction in the quotas of freelancers and access to social benefits like the rest of the employees. The petition is a "fair and effective" law of second chance, having a retirement "at the height" of his working life, "facilities" with VAT or being entitled to maternity. In addition, they require that the self-employed quota be set based on the benefits of the companies and that it be "symbolic or free" in the event that they are below the minimum interprofessional minimum wage (SMI).
