GARDEN EXPERT TO ASSIST STATIONS IN PLANNING INCREASED FOOD PRODUCTION - The Air Council has appointed Mr. Whyte as Air Ministry Gardening Officer. Mr. Whyte at present County Horticultural Adviser to the Shropshire County Council, will work in liaison with the recently appointed Catering Inspectors and his expert knowledge will be available to Units throughout the country, many of whom are already doing much in growing food stuffs.
