BLUE BEAUTY GERANIUM. peach blow Hibiscus. BLUE BEAUTY GhRANIUM. Great Novvlty and a New Color. Each year we import many Euro- pean novelties for testing on our trial grounds and among others we received • a number of new geraniums some oi which were unnamed. We were sur- prised to find among the number a new color heretofore unknown in ger- aniums, being of a most beautiful vio- let or purplish crimson with a blue sheen over the surface. The flower is double and the three upper outside petals have a spot of clear vermilion near the base which makes the flow- ers more brilliant. Out of one hun- dred varieties of geraniums on our place this year there was none which approached it in color. It is a vigor- ous grower and free bloomer even dur- ing the dryest summer weather. The blue tint shows better after flower is fully out. Each 25c. RUSSELIA MULTIFLORA. A great improvement on Russelia Juncea as it blooms more continuously, being loaded with hun- dreds of small brilliant scarlet flowers. The flower panicles are extremely long and it makes a very de- sirable little plant for growing in pots or hanging baskets. Each 10c, 3 for 25c. Plants arrived this morning. They could not have been in better condition and they were perfectly satisfactory.—Mrs. J. T. hobnett, Deer Park, Mis- souri. There is nothing which we enjoy so much as making the children hap- py. They must have amusement and if it can be turned in such a way as to be instructive and bene* ficial at the same time so much the better. So much be
