Colored like Exochus rutilatus with the following differences: Whitish mark on pronotum averaging a little longer; apical ± of hind tibia blackish; apex of first four segments of hind tarsus blackish; female usually with a median vertical mark on face and spot next to the clypeal fovea brownish. The whitish mark covering the cheek in the female does not extend on to the temple. Type: 9, Moorestown, N. J., July 16, 1939, H. and M. Townes (Washington, USNM 63661).
