Thus this first of the predicted latter-day signs bore itsmessage to men. Its immediate scene was set in the OldWorld, but its warning was world-wide. The next sign fore-told was to appear in the New World, but like the Lisbonearthquake, its message of warning was for all THE FLOOD So shall also the coming of the Sonof man be. Matt. 24:39.
